What a great group!

My man and I would rather watch Doctor Who and Battlestar Gallactica than anything else, and we share those shows with the kids.

They ask a lot of questions!! BSG is hard to explain to them sometimes.

I also like to teach them to use their imaginations, since sic-fi is not just about tv/movies.

I recently made a sci-fi solar system craft with my kids. It taugth them to think outside of our solar system, and imagine their own planets and worlds.

Learning about colors can be confusing and messy, when making kids crafts. With this paper crafts idea for kids, they will learn how to make colors without actually mixing them.

Color mixing without a mess

Toddlers 18 months and up can make a stained glass craft paper craft inspired by stained glass windows in churches.

Make a craft that imitates stained glasss.

This could be a religious craft, or simply an arts craft.

Great for springtime, rainy days, Easter or Christmas.
